Natasha Richardson (wife of Liam Neeson) was in a skiing accident and may be taken off life support very soon. She has massive brain swelling and is thought to be brain dead.

It was bugging me that I couldn't figure out who she was -- I knew I recognized her -- but I finally found a picture that clarified it. She played the mom in the Lindsay Lohan remake of The Parent Trap (which I actually liked).

To be fair, no one really knows what's going on. Apart from the initial incident and hospital transfers, the media don't know what her injuries are, how bad it is, or what her condition is.

One really does hope it's not as bad as the rumors are saying it is :/

OMG i didn't know she was that injured!!!!! i just watched the parent trap the other night!!! she is also a tony winner for chicago a few years back. that is so sad! :-(

She is dead. And the thing I remember her from was The Handmaid's Tale...an interesting film whose politics I disagree with. But she was good.
