Holiday Mail For Heroes
Feeling better this morning, gang, so I'm just popping in to spread the word. My dear friend
tribalw0lf is encouraging her friends to send holiday cards to recovering soldiers, and this is an excellent idea; however, you can't send them directly to Walter Reed Hospital or similar location and just address them to "A Recovering Soldier." They will not accept them.
The Red Cross runs a program called Holiday Mail For Heroes, and they will distribute your cards to soldiers in hospitals and the like. For information and guidelines, go here:

btw, what time on the 20th? I'm working tomorrow so I have a holiday day off I can use up to 30 days after or before a holdiay. I haven't picked my day yet. I would love to see you perform. =)
