Well, that was trippy.
I'm getting a kick out of Twitter.
I'm stalking four celebrities on there in addition to all my friends -- Neil Gaiman, Stephen Fry, Tom Felton, and Wil Wheaton. I'd heard that Wil's a bit of a dork and he seems like someone I'd get on with, which is the main reason I started following him.
Short while ago, he posts that he found two new, good reviews of stuff he's published and that it made for a great start to his day. Hey, I'm a writer, I can appreciate that. Out of curiosity, I click the link for the review of his book Just a Geek. I immediately "tweet" her to let her know that he's posted this, since I can see in her profile that she doesn't follow him on there, and she goes and leaves him a message and the whole thing was just lulzy and fun. :D
Technically, I could petition to have my name added to the list of minor celebrities, in the author section. I have written a book. But given that it's a book that next to no one has ever heard of, this seems a bit impolitic. I'll just wait until I've published some fiction. (Wrote a prologue yesterday...) That's the reason I'm using my real name on there instead of Lady Norbert or something. Someday I shall be internet famous! Or famous-er, depending on your point of view.
