NOTES: I was so pissed off last night after the council meeting that I decided to let it all out in ficlet form. I started picking at it this afternoon at work, between projects, and then emailed it to myself and have been working on it since I got home. For reasons that will become obvious as soon as you see the summary, this is a very very AU story! I just hope I got all the characterizations right, or as right as possible under the circumstances.
