NOTES: I was so pissed off last night after the council meeting that I decided to let it all out in ficlet form. I started picking at it this afternoon at work, between projects, and then emailed it to myself and have been working on it since I got home. For reasons that will become obvious as soon as you see the summary, this is a very very AU story! I just hope I got all the characterizations right, or as right as possible under the circumstances. SUMMARY: Heidi is growing more and more dissatisfied with her position in the pack. When she's finally pushed too far, she commits possibly the gravest sin a pack member could commit -- she makes a violent bid for the Alpha spot. Nobody could have predicted the result.
