Okay...I am TOTALLY asking for trouble, but we had so much fun at aerynstales LJ that I can't resist.

Basically, name an HP pairing. Any pairing. I will then write a one-sentence story about that pairing.

Let's see...

There was something ageless and immortal about the love of man and machine, Nemo decided as he strolled through the corridors of his precious submarine; and while he knew, intellectually, that the ship could not return his devotion, as he trailed his fingertips along the cool walls with a lover's caress, he felt reasonably certain that somehow, some way, she knew her captain and loved him ceaselessly.

(I never promised it would be a GOOD one-sentence story.)
