hi from work

Hope I haven't missed too much. This place is insane in its way. The day care is just down the hall and is extremely noisy. My password for the central information system ("Shepherd's Staff") does not work, nor does my swipe card, and I can't do anything about either of these facts until the treasurer comes in.

On the plus side, I have my Sherlock audio CDs and can listen to the stories while I work. The Hound of the Baskervilles would get me through the whole day by itself. I also have my favorite music CDs.

Must contact people about information that they very likely submitted to the previous secretary, but which I cannot find anywhere in this labyrinth of a computer system. At least one of the people in question is my own mother, which makes life a little simpler.

Miss those of you to whom I've not been able to chat online, and extra special hugs to my kids.
