Prayer for a Church Office Administrator


Dear Lord,

I have a lot of tasks before me today.

No matter what else is going on in my life, please help me to leave those troubles at the door so I may do my job.

Keep my voice sweet on the phone, and help me to smile at everyone who walks through the door.

Help me to accept challenges gracefully, and to remain positive and encouraged in spite of any setbacks or difficulties.

Let me remember that I am only human, and that I am going to make mistakes sometimes.

Remind me to always treat the office equipment with respect, no matter how much I might want to choke it.

Do not let me lose my keys.

And even if nothing else goes right in a given week, Lord, and by Friday I am ready to cry with frustration, please, please, please let the bulletins for Sunday be correct.
