Dec. 22nd, 2005 11:42 amI'm amused that it took the words from the ficlet I did about Tom Sawyer and Elizabeth Quatermain.
In other news....the work is done. It's all done. 675 bulletins of varying length. 430 seven-page newsletters. Done, done, done. I feel so FREE.
Now I just have to finish cards and mailing packages to my kids.
Speaking of kids! Two Christmas presents from them have already arrived! The journal-less Ana sent me a lovely chalk drawing (white chalk on black paper) of Elizabeth Quatermain. And yesterday I received a wonderful package from
_revolutionary containing a Corpse Bride mousepad, the 2-disc DVD special edition of The Polar Express (which I wanted!) and an absolutely hilarious book called The Silly Side of Sherlock Holmes: A Brand New Adventure Using a Bunch of Old Pictures.
I also received an item off my Amazon wishlist from
rafferty, which made me absolutely squee with delight when I opened it -- The Great Detective at the Crucible of Life! Sherlock Holmes meets Allan Quatermain! (I need hardly add that my Charlotte and Elizabeth muses are highly entertained by the idea.) *hugs generous gift-giving types* Thank you all so much.
