Hokay, so….there’s a new quote at quote_ficlets, and here’s a ficlet to go with it. Now, I’m doing something unorthodox, here. It’s a pairing (of sorts) that I’ve mentioned before, but I’m taking the point of view of the character I don’t play. Therefore, without_ascript, if I haven’t gotten Dorian just so, I do apologize. But when I saw the quote for the week, I couldn’t NOT do him.

Notes: As mentioned above, Dorian is played in the game by without_ascript. Elizabeth is my original character and played by, oddly enough, me. This story takes place at some undefined point in the future; it’s based on events which are scheduled to happen.
Summary: She doesn’t know she can’t save him…she’s the only one who has ever bothered to try.
