(no subject)

Gonna be quite busy this weekend, so I'm not sure how much you'll be seeing me. I'm now about to go jump in the car and head out to the Sherlock Holmes club meeting; alas, Echo just phoned and said she can't make it after all, owing to something coming up with her daughter. But she promised to attend the meeting in December.

I quite like Echo in her own right, but I've also noticed that I miss my kids less when she's around. Note to self: See if Echo can be persuaded to get a LiveJournal.

Sunday I intend to head into Bethlehem after church and meet up with kytyn and theshaggyfreak for our annual Celtic Classic lunch. The Celtic Classic is a festival of all things Irish, Scottish, and those other Celtic nations....naturally, our annual lunch takes place at a Mexican restaurant. Yes, I'm serious. Most of the food places at the Classic, though I do love me some shepherd's pie and whatnot, are just too crowded, and there's never any place to sit, so when we found this restaurant a few years ago it became "our place."

In between Sherlock and the Celts, I have the usual gamut of other chores; I have to prepare tomorrow's Sunday School lesson, put away clean laundry and dishes, finish my birthday thank-you cards, and I want to work on the scrapbook I'm making of the first British Invasion. So I'll be sparse at best, but you can always reach me by cell phone.
