DA RULES:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better! If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

No promises are made regarding creativity or novelty of interview questions, should you ask.

My questions, courtesy of the future High King of Men:

1) If they were to make a sequel to The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and you were involved in the writing or producing, what would you make sure to include in terms of plot/character/background/setting?

I would make sure that there were no glaring plotholes, like the Nautilus being able to submerge in the Venice canals; you know, stuff that people like my husband enjoy picking apart. I would try to give more screen time to the relationships between the characters, so that their actions toward and regarding each other make more sense. And, if we presuppose that the reason I'm involved at all is because they're using my sequel, I would most certainly want to make sure that the actress playing Elizabeth was neither widely known nor overwhelmingly gorgeous, because Elizabeth looks like exactly what she is -- a bright, pleasant, unassuming girl who was raised in the countryside and reads a lot. She's "wholesomely pretty," and I won't want Hollywood glamming her up.

2) What is one thing you would like to add to a Wikipedia article but can't since it would get deleted for not being proper Wikipedia material?

I'm always really tempted to add "and by the way, it completely sucks" to articles about television shows I can't stand.

3) If you were allowed to either watch the OotP movie tomorrow or read Book 7, which would you pick?

No question, read book 7. I can wait for the movie.

4) Outside of internationally renowned best selling author (because I think that's on everyone's "to-do" list), what job would you take in a heartbeat?

I would really love to be involved in something that requires a lot of research. One of my most favorite things to do in my current job is to help people who are looking up their family trees, and it continues to be one of my own passions. I'd really love a job that involves searching for information; I get a complete rush of triumph when I "get a hit" on something I'm hunting.

5) Hmmmm. If you have to pick one of your numerous fandoms to spend a week in (no more and no less!), which would you choose and why?

It would almost have to be LXG, because I'm pretty well-known there, plus it has a lot less wank and drama then Harry Potter, which would be my second choice.
