Yesterday was, of course, Father's Day. I elected to ignore this fact, since it was the first one I've ever had to spend without my primary father figure. Not that I slighted Ravi or anything, I just didn't talk about the occasion very much. Neither did Mom.
You probably won't see a whole lot of me for the next few days; I'll be on periodically, I'm sure, but not too often. The reason for this is a simple one -- Kevin's on vacation. By this I mean that he finished at the IRS last week, but deliberately neglected to tell his supermarket boss that he could come back to work right away. So for the next five days, he can catch up on sleep and do some of that long-overdue relaxing. He's been working seven days a week since February, he's entitled. Not that he's planning on goofing off the whole time; he wants to help me clean out the attic and paint the living room.
Just had an incident on the phone that is so definitely being posted atchurchworkers. It's the weirdest case of wrong number in history.
Anyway, yes, not going to be here lots. But I will do those ficlets I was asked for yesterday; the requests are still being accepted, if you didn't put in for one. I didn't place the usual restriction about one ficlet per character, so don't feel weird about asking for someone that's already been requested. (Ari's going to be in three different stories so far.)
I also intend to do the next chapter of EQ in the next few days, for those of you watching me for updates, and I want to do another installment of the private "Road Home" story. So stay tuned, or something.
