Jul. 11th, 2007 09:45 amI won't be seeing Harry until tomorrow at the earliest, because I never watch a Harry film for the first time without Kevin (subsequent viewings may or may not include him) and tomorrow is when he's off. Granted, we could go to a late showing, but I've been staying up way too late recently as it is and am probably racking up some sleep debt.
Soooo after work I'll be going to pick up tickets. I also have to stop at Mom's for some things I left there (including a gift from my step-grandmother; she's apparently upset that I forgot it) and to drop off their anniversary present.
Last night there was a terrible three-car accident at the intersection where my grandparents lived. Kevin heard the sirens and looked outside and realized that all the fire trucks and other flashing-light vehicles were stopping right there, so we put on shoes and walked up. I was pretty shaken by the time we got back. Not only did one of the cars stop a mere eight inches from the house, but Mom, Ravi, and Ravi's parents were in the car directly behind the accident and, according to Mom, would have been IN it if they had been going any faster. Good thing she never speeds in town. No fatalities, fortunately, but at least one person was taken in an ambulance.
Very much having a don't-wanna-be-here kind of morning. Naturally, it's passing v e e e e e r y slowly.
