Kevin is better, so last night we went out for supper. It was the first real meal either of us had eaten in a number of days; he's been sick and I guess you could say I've been forgetting to eat.
Afterward we went to Suncoast and spent a little too much money on DVDs. But I now have Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Neil Gaiman's Stardust, so I'll be setting up the laptop in the kitchen tonight and entertaining myself while I clean out the refrigerator and make banana bread. Bread mixes were on sale and I heart banana bread, so I grabbed a few.
Pastor says he thinks he knows a kid who can fill in as the donkey in the pageant, so now all I have to worry about is getting a big star for the angel to carry, and working out the set, and all that fun directorial stuff. At least the ears arrived yesterday; Oriental Trading sells this variety pack of what are technically described as dog ears, but from a distance some of them look close enough to cow ears that we can fake it.
