Tire situation is sorted. When I had tire work done last Saturday, I purchased a sort of insurance against anything happening to those tires, and as a result I spent less than ten dollars on what was done today. Gotta love that.

Spent more time in Borders while waiting. Got Liza's birthday gift and something for myself. Also learned that the vanilla bean cremekula is not nearly as good as it sounds, and will be sticking with orange mango from now on. (What the hell is a "cremekula" anyway? It sounds like the name of an independent island nation.)

Will likely not be about tomorrow. After church the family is congregating for the kid's birthday party; she turns 24 on Wednesday but we're taking advantage of her having the day off tomorrow. That'll keep me tied up until around 3:00 or so, and youth group meets at 6:30, so there's a very small window in there for me to do some other stuff that needs to be done, like procuring the DVD and snacks for said meeting. Would have done that today, but developed some nasty pain in the bookstore (what else is new?) and felt inclined to come home as soon as I had my car back. But I did get most of my errands done, so that much is good.

We may get up to an inch of snow overnight. The weather needs to make up its mind.
