Hands down, Jim Henson. I cried and cried, especially when they aired that special about the Muppets paying tribute to him. I still get a little sniffly when we watch our Muppet Family Christmas video and see his cameo at the end, where he shanghais Sprocket the dog into helping him wash the dishes.
