aerynstales, today is Beta Reader Appreciation Day.
Who decided this, I have no idea. But what the heck.
From the world of A Study in Charlotte, massive shout-outs and thank-yous toaerynstales, lfire1, only_seimei, wens, book_addict, kytyn, sethoz, _revolutionary, valerious013, violet_wine (Charlotte's godmother-of-sorts), utopia_tears, siddyq, clairie, and of course my dear twin nentikobe. The Army of Proofreaders have been a huge, huge help with that novel I have lately been neglecting in favor of other responsibilities.
Meanwhile, from the Elizabeth Quatermain universe, a profound and enormous debt of gratitude is forever owed toterig, the Grande Dame of Minions and Beta Reader Extraordinaire. She's one of a kind in the world of betas. And she's MINE. *clings territorially*
I haven't written any Harry Potter fic in ages, but when I did/do, Zsenya was/is my contact at the Sugar Quill for proofreading purposes, and she's quite amazing in her own right.
