I've seen 2 of those! I actually own the DVD of the claymation special. When I was little, we had a VHS tape of Christmas specials that we'd bust out every year, and while it originally had that special on it, it somehow got taped over (because no one else in my family seemed to think it was any good...), and I was really upset. So my mom found the DVD for me and gave it to me for Christmas a few years back :)

But I had no idea that A Muppet Family Christmas is doomed to be lost in obscurity! I'm outraged! That is one of my absolute favorites! Whenever I tell someone "be careful of the icy patch!" I feel the need to giggle :D

The Muppet special's probably not THAT obscure, but the fact that it remains unavailable on DVD is causing many younger fans to remain unaware of its existence, so I'm trying to keep it alive!

Heh, yeah, I suppose anything Muppets can't really be obscure, but the problems getting it to DVD is definitely sad. It looks like it's on YouTube, though, so at least the young'uns can still easily find it somewhat illegally :)
