bored, bored, bored

Bored. Home alone.
Stuck on chapter four of the novel ("When Mycroft Met Charlotte" -- no, that's not its real title, just me being silly). She met Mycroft without any trouble; the problem is what to have them do for the rest of the chapter. Hopefully the dam will break soon.
I was much amused by the odd dream I had just before waking up. It was like an alternate universe, in which I'd never met my husband. Sherlock Holmes was a guy I'd known in high school, and we were still friends. I was taking him to our local airport to watch the planes from the observation deck, because he was climbing-the-walls bored, and my mom and sister were teasing me about having a date with him.
"It's not a date...I don't think."

I've got three projects in the fire right now and for some reason one-shots keep coming to mind. Grah!

Date: 2005-04-17 08:12 am (UTC)From what I remember, I was sitting on a couch with Mr. R at his posh place, and we were watching a retrospect on his career on TV. I didn't see his face, but I was leaning against his shoulder...he was wearing a brilliantly white button-down shirt and bleach-blue jeans (???)...
BR: "Do you think retirement (pronounced with that deliciously long 'i') looks good on me?"
Razor: *without missing a beat* "Of course."
Since then I've had many, many half-dreams about Holmes, anything from his solving complex cases in the two minutes before my alarm goes off to him rattling off one-liners that echo in my head as I wake up. ^_^
