He is Risen
Apr. 16th, 2006 12:37 pmWent to church today for the first time (not counting work) since Nana died. I cried, although it took me a while to realize why. It was the smell of the hyacinths that people had bought which were on the steps to the altar; Nana loved hyacinths.
Saw the Laudenslager family. They lost their 23-year-old son Jamie on Friday; he'd had a heart condition all his life, and last weekend he collapsed. They're...well...let's just say I was impressed that they were there.
Going to Mom's for the meal in about two hours, and then going over to Kevin's parents' house after that. So I won't be on for a long time today.
Happy Easter -- and Happy Passover, to my Jewish friends.
