Sick.
Woke up with a sore throat which has not abated. Got progressively more uncomfortable throughout the day...am home now with comfy clothes, Mountain Dew, chili from Wendy's, and body aches and a stuffy head and a slight case of the woozies.
Yep. I did my best to avoid it, but I seem to have caught the cold that's been plaguing the entire day care.
I took it easy all day, hoping that if I did, it wouldn't get any worse. It did, but not too bad, and hopefully I'll be better tomorrow if I just continue relaxing. I took Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler and Lord of the Beans to work with me, to listen to while I assembled the bulletins. Those are so, so, so cute. (Sheerluck Holmes and Dr. Watson hang out in an ice cream parlor called Doylie's -- how cool is that? Er, no pun intended...)
So I'll probably be signing off soon, to go hog the sofa and curl up with my blankie and box of tissues. Maybe I'll have a marathon -- Firefly, or Sherlock Holmes, or something. Here's hoping I'm not out of commission long, though, because I have things to do.
