NOTES: I was so pissed off last night after the council meeting that I decided to let it all out in ficlet form. I started picking at it this afternoon at work, between projects, and then emailed it to myself and have been working on it since I got home. For reasons that will become obvious as soon as you see the summary, this is a very very AU story! I just hope I got all the characterizations right, or as right as possible under the circumstances. Dia belongs toscifispice80. Cole, Nate and Kyle belong to clez. Steven belongs to sethoz. Blake belongs to isaviel, Min-ho belongs to behindtonsils, Will belongs to vampyric_lycan, and Annelise belongs to shining_phoenix. Marion, who shows up at the end, belongs to nentikobe. SUMMARY: Heidi is growing more and more dissatisfied with her position in the pack. When she's finally pushed too far, she commits possibly the gravest sin a pack member could commit -- she makes a violent bid for the Alpha spot. Nobody could have predicted the result.
