(Apologies to those of you who see this twice.)
This is quite possibly the most horrible thing I've heard of in a very long time. It was posted at
help_each_other.
liltat2mama (whom I admit I don't know from a can of paint) recently lost her infant niece under very tragic circumstances. Baby Miranda's father shook her until she was unconscious, then put her back in her crib like she was sleeping. Her mother found her later and couldn't revive her. She died from bleeding in the brain as a result of the abuse. The family doesn't have the money to give Miranda a proper funeral and memorial, and are asking for help.
I realize a lot of you may be skeptical, especially after the recent debacle with
city_glitter's false story about the burned cat, but this has been verified by a number of people and was showcased on various news reports, so it does appear to be genuine.
