Date: 2008-01-02 03:21 pm (UTC)"That's hard. Can I be annoyed by the fact that I can't find anything about her to be annoyed by? The closest she ever comes to annoying me is when I try to drop a hint and she misses it."

"Well, I think everyone finds their Alphas at least slightly intimidating, simply because they have that much power. Other than that, no. I'm in awe of some of my pack mates because they're so intelligent or powerful or skilled, but not intimidated by them."
3. Would you ever consider becoming a fighter?
"We all have our strengths, and I know mine. And fighting isn't one of them. I would fight if I had no choice, but it's not something I'm interested in pursuing as a 'career,' so to speak."
4. Or a rogue, for that matter?
"Not if I could help it. If the Alphas and Betas were somehow removed from leadership -- perish the thought -- and I disagreed with whoever replaced them, yes, I would probably go rogue in that situation."
5. What’s your favourite breakfast food?
"Heidi's waffles."

"I haven't really tried one in a long time, but I think I can."
7. Favourite cartoon?
"I'm strangely fascinated by InuYasha, even though I don't know what's going on half the time. It's peculiarly brilliant."
8. How much do you use the internet?
"Every morning. I like reading the newspaper online instead of in my hands; I don't get ink smudges on my fingers and I can adjust the print size if I want."
9. Do you collect anything?
"Pocket Dragons. They're a series of miniature dragon figures by somebody named Real Musgrave. There's quite a lot of them -- two hundred or so -- and I have about fifteen. They're a little hard to find."
10. Name one thing you love, and in turn one thing you hate, about your wolf form.
"I like how the expression is usually really placid, but it bothers me that I don't look bigger or more imposing. I'm not about to intimidate any potential threats in that form...I'm too cuddly."

"I wish I had better control of my emotions during the full moons. I can control myself physically -- well, most of the time -- but I become oversensitive and irritable."
3. What would you do if something happened to your fellow Beta and the Alphas?
"That hardly bears thinking about; they're my brothers and sister, as far as I'm concerned. If something happened to them, I'm not sure I would particularly care what became of me, though all of my attention would be turned to protecting and aiding the pack."
4. Do you wish you had an artistic or musical talent?
"I would very much like to play the piano. I've often thought of asking someone to teach me, but I have other responsibilities and so do they."
5. Are there any pack members you worry about in particular?
"I concern myself greatly with making sure that newcomers settle in well, so right now you could say I'm particularly concerned with Mara and Drake."
6. What’s your favourite fictional TV show?
"The Tudors; it interests me to see what they get right and what they don't."
7. The best movie you’ve ever seen?
"A hard call, because there are many excellent movies. But I actually have a very strong fondness for the animated Disney fairy tales, particularly Beauty and the Beast."
8. Is there anything material you keep hidden from everyone else for whatever reason?
"Yes. I refrain from sharing certain details about my younger years with my packmates. Cole knows the whole story, and I suppose I really ought to speak to William about it now that we...well, anyway, yes."
9. Would you ever go rogue again? If so, what would drive you to leave?
"I'm inclined to think not. I take great comfort in knowing that the pack needs me."
10. Favourite author?
"Jane Austen, without question. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book."

"Most favorite is probably knowing I make a difference; my partner is also a stand-up guy. Least favorite is being new in town and kind of the low man on the social totem pole."

"I'm very much a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I love a good steak."
4. Do you think if you had to do it again, you'd still come to LA?
"Absolutely. I miss Texas and always will, but my brother's here, I'm making friends, and the most beautiful woman I ever saw lives here."
5. Your ideal day.
"A long motorcycle ride in some open location, a picnic lunch, and then an evening at an outdoor concert. All with someone special, of course."

2. Of the centuries you've lived so far, which is your favorite? least?
"The current century has much to recommend it, although I was very fond of the clothing styles in the Regency and Victorian eras. My least favorite is probably the Renaissance era. It wasn't so bad at the time, but they glamorize it so much these days that it's become a bit annoying. Those faires and things are a lot of fun, but the historical re-creation is often lacking."
3. Is technology a good thing?
"Having lived most of my life without indoor plumbing, I would have to say I'm very much in favor of technological advancement. Besides, I'm very fond of my laptop."
4. Where would you be if not for Cole?
"Something I've wondered myself, on occasion. Very probably I would have fallen in with another pack at some point, but I have my doubts about whether I'd be as comfortable."
5. Favorite cartoon?
"I'm very fond of Disney animated films. Fairy tales please me for some reason."

"I'm quite fond of the arias from The Magic Flute -- they're just so spirited and enjoyable."

"It's a little...'busy,' I suppose is the word, for my tastes. I prefer solid colors, or simple prints like pinstripes."

"I daresay they have their purpose; that being said, I shouldn't appreciate meeting one."

"Butterflies. Moths are a nighttime phenomenon, and I'm really more of a daylight person."

Advice? I think I'd like to ask him for advice. He at least seems to know what he's doing!
